  Food was ok, children's spaghetti was bland so don't bother with that, the service was none existent, we was there 2 hours and was we had 2 drinks and that was only because we went and tracked down a waitress, 30 min wait for starter and then an hour gap until the main. The prices they charge and they can't even get the little things right, avoid at all cost.

  Had high hopes for dinner here, but was very disappointed. Service was ok, but the food was 5/10 at best. Presented with a very simple summer menu to choose from I expected what was served to be excellent given the cost but it wasn't even close. I went for the steak medium rare, it came out blue/rare and still cold. No problem, I sent this back and it came back well done with the same chips re-fried for warmth which left them greasy! The meat itself wasn't even a nice cut. It seemed it wasn't just me, 3 other tables seemed to suffer too with various meals being sent back as the chef came out to apologise to one of them. I came for a birthday meal with my partner after having been for a drink once before and impressed with the location. My verdict: for a drink- great, but I won't be eating here again.

  New management and new menu. Served apple sauce from a jar and tried to make out it was homemade apple chutney. Said it was homemade and had cinnamon in it. Wrong on both accounts. Just admit to it. Then blamed the new menu? Hock Pie had tin foil inside it. Won't be coming here ever again.
